Suva Marathon Club advises the public that for the 4th annual Island Chill Suva Marathon, the Club has received Fiji
Police and Fiji Road Authority’s permission to close the following roads:
5am – 11am Saturday 22 July
- Full road closure of Queen Elizabeth Drive, from Suva Bowling Club to just before Muanikau Road
- Full road closure of Cakobau Road from Suva Bowling Club to Gladstone Road
- Half road closure of Gladstone Road and Southern Cross Road
Traffic cones, signage and barriers will be in place. The travelling public is requested to obey the directions of Fiji Police and Fulton Hogan Hiways marshals and to take alternative routes for the duration of the road closure.
Suva Marathon Club apologises for any inconvenience caused and invites all members of the public to participate in the free 10km fun run that will start at Albert Park Pavilion at 7am.
