So at this week’s Thursday Social Fun Run, Jon was again our Timing Marshall, and showing his prowess in the system, had his phone go dead before finishing the timing. So no times for runners this week, only positions.
Come home Matt, oh great timing master LOL 😀
Jon did conscientiously record the finishing order very well and it is below and most of us now have watches to record our times, so here’s some incentive to invest in your running fitness.
Shunnosuke, coming home as our tail end runner on the list, took 75 minutes to finish as he overran the 5k turn, the 7k turn, the 10k turn and ended up at USP gate. Matt and Marita went looking for him. His mum went looking. Phil was looking whilst running back home but neither sight nor sound until he hove into view at 6.20pm.
At which point Jon’s phone battery died and he lost all the other times! 🙁
Jon’s comment: “I’m not doing this on purpose, just so you know.” 😀
Can every one please pay attention to the very good yellow path markers on the Nasese seawall and know where to turn for your chosen distance next week please?? 😉
